Use

The Shark IQ will intelligently clean your home row by row. It will know where it has been and where it needs to go. Because it empties itself and boasts a self-cleaning brush-roll, you simply won't have to think about vacuuming for weeks on end.

Charge

One of the best features of the shark IQ is that it is always happy to return to its base, empty its contents, and recharge before coming back for round two. It will not stop halfway through cleaning. Instead, it will remember where it's been and make sure that it finished the job. If you have lots of heavy carpets and a lot of pet hair, the Shark IQ will struggle to go for an hour, but with the recharge and resume function, that really doesn't matter.

Maintenance

The Shark IQ cleans itself, empties itself, and charges itself. You won't need to worry about cleaning brushes, emptying tanks, and charging batteries. That means that you won't need to be worrying about getting the screwdrivers out and clipping in replacements as you might with cheaper alternatives.

Price

The Shark IQ is not cheap, but it doesn't use cheap materials either. A middle-of-the-road price point, and, from what we can gather, a middle-of-the-road product. Obviously better than some budget models, but if you have high budget, you may wish to consider one of the elite models, too.
